Popular with many “Daylight detection” systems which turn things on each morning. Examples include automatic watering , animal feeders, etc.
It can be used with night lights or to initiate burglar alarm if an unauthorised light is detected.
Adjustable sensitivity means it can be used in a wide variety of situations.
